Kia ora bloggers,
Today we had a fun Fri-yay task instead of the usual literacy task. We had to create an artwork inspired by the wizard of oz. It had to be inspired by the wizard of oz because that is the book we are studying this term. I printed out a picture of Dorothy, the Tin Man, the Lion, and the Scarecrow walking and cut them out. I then used the paper that I cut them out of as a template. I put it on a new piece of paper then sponged on watercolour paint. Here is the finished product!
I tried to make the colours match the person.
See you next time!

Hi Hana, wow, what an awesome artwork! Where did you get the idea? It looks so cool, I love that you did something different, it's so effective. I really like that you gave Dorothy her iconic red shoes as well, a great finishing touch! I can't wait to see what you blog this week. Caitlin :)
ReplyDeleteHi Caitlin, I got the idea off of a pin I saw on pinterest. I liked the red shoes too, I thought it might help people see what the painting was. Thanks for the comment.
