Samoan Virtual Classroom

Since the start of the year, we have been learning Samoan.  This is my virtual classroom where I have put all my learning for you to also learn from.  If you hover over items in my classroom, a hyperlink will pop up for you to click on.

In my classroom you will learn about:

• Samoa as a country

Cool Comic Strip

This past week we have been learning about irony. We learnt about the three different types of irony: verbal irony, situational irony, and dramatic irony. Verbal irony is basically sarcasm, if the weather is terrible, it would be verbal irony to say 'What wonderful weather we're having.'. Situational irony is when you expect something but get the opposite. Dramatic irony is when the audience knows something before a character does. My friend Bailee and I made a comic strip showing verbal irony. Here it is:

Today we are learning how to put a image on a blog post. 
Here is an image I drew using google draw. I couldn't do a stop-motion because I was away.  It is a drawing of Gangsta Granny.

Kia Ora, my name is Hana and I am a year 6 at Marshland School. 
My teacher is Miss Roberts. I have a older brother whose name is Joe and a
puppy whose name is Chuck, he is 8 months old and he digs a lot of holes in
my backyard. I like to play Netball and make things in my spare time. I also
play netball games on the weekend. My favourite subject at school is art
because I like painting and improving my skills. My favourite food is tacos
because you can put anything you like in them. My learning goal this year is
to be reading bigger non-fiction books to expand my vocabulary.
