Properties of Shapes

In maths this week we have been learning some shapes. I made a poster to show some of them.
The lines show the lengths of the sides. If 2 sides have the same amount of lines it means they are the same length. The arrows show if 2 lines are parallel. I made it on google draw.

Goal Ladder

Hello Bloggers! This is my goal ladder that I made at the start of this term. 
Reading
My goal this term was to read novels and be able to analyse the characters, settings, plot and themes in great detail. I read a book every night so I can move up one on the ladder. I will focus on the next few rungs next term. 
Writing 
My goal this term for writing was to proofread and edit my work for spelling, punctuation and grammar. I searched up words if I didn't know the meaning, I also worked on my grammar so I can move up two rungs.
Maths
My goal for maths this term was to find the rule in patterns and express this rule as a formula. We did geometry in maths this term so I had to do my math goal at home. I learnt how to find the rule in patterns by going online. I did that at home so I can move up two rungs.
Resilience
My goal for resilience this term was to demonstrate the ability to bounce back from adversity.  I worked with people that I usually don't work with. I controlled my anger when people were being annoying. I achieved the other two rungs as well. I achieved this goal!

Today we had to finish our biography on a powerful/influential person. I picked Angelina Jolie.

During Maori today, we had to draw objects and write an English translation and a Maori translation.

Vocabulary Word Art

Hello, during class we have been making word art. We had to pick a word that is used too much on our writing and write that in capitals. Then we had to go on a thesaurus and find other words that meant the same thing and write them in lower case. These are the ones that I made, I hope you like them!
